after some tweaking and fine-tuning, the "oh eight was so great" tribute-to-concerts/shows-i-attended-in-2008 compilation c.d. is fineato! [did you notice my play on the word "finito"?! fi-NEAT-o?! sometimes even i'm impressed by my own cleverness.]
although this compliation does not include tracks from all the shows i attended this year [i'm forgetful sometimes, you see], it does include the majority of them and most definitely the highlights. also important to note, some of the songs i chose are select favorites from each artist - not necessarily what was played at said show. keep that in mind.
so just what is on this compact disc, you ask?!... well let me tell you...
you will find artists such as:
the faint, cansei de ser sexy, feist, andrew bird, the fleet foxes, of montreal, yelle, m.i.a., the swell season, etc., with special guest, CHROMEO, from the show in portlandia.
so anyway, if you'd like a copy, leave a comment. and if you don't, then you're missing out.
