twenty eight

in twenty eight days i will be twenty eight years old. although i'm not the biggest fan of my date of birth, i'm feeling ok about this one. i guess maybe it's the idea of going back to even numbers. and being closer to thirty. did/does anyone else look forward to thirty like i do? and can anyone explain to me why i'm looking forward to thirty and have been since i was, like, twenty? that doesn't seem very typical. but then again, this is me we're talking about.
