... down memory lane:
for some reason i've been enthralled in the footloose soundtrack the past little bit. ok, maybe "enthralled" is a bit much, but i've listened to it more than twice but less than ten times. [sidenote: doveman actually covers the album, and you can find more about that here.] anyway, this soundtrack, and specifically the title track, remind me of our house in kaysville. ty and i were probably four and three [respectively] and we'd put the cassette in the biiiig ghetto blaster, crank the volume up, and get dancey! i think my favorite part of all this is when we'd put on our sunday shoes just to kick them off when kenny loggins sings, "...kick off your sunday shoes" ...
wow, ty, you were a really good sport. i'd like to post a picture of you playing dress-up with me, but i can't find it and mom's scanner is not working. perhaps i'll see what i can come up with...
